Actor and comedian Arsenio Hall, who is returning to the late night chat show circuit after 19 years, has announced the guest show lineup for his first week.

The Arsenio Hall Show, airing weeknights on KTLA at 11 p.m. starting Sept. 9, features a mix of talent from film, music, comedy and sports.

Guests include Chris Tucker, Ice Cube, Lisa Kudrow, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, George Lopez, Naz and Angela Bassett. Other guests scheduled for later in the month are Paula Patton and Djimon Hounsou (“Baggage Claim”), Russell Simmons, 2 Chainz and Melissa Leo (“The Fighter”).

Hall noted that his first week of guests reflected a taste of pop culture that he hoped to deliver every week.

“I am honored to welcome friends — both old and new — to my show,” he said. “My goal is to have fun, make people laugh and send viewers to bed with a smile on their face.”
