About 2,000 Southland artists lined up at Barnsdall Park last Saturday to enter their artwork in Open Call 2014. The line, bottom left, stretched down the walkway leading to the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery and then around the park as people waited in line to pay their $20-a-piece entry fee.
