Grammy-nominated pop icon Adam Ant announces Prima Donna as the direct support artist for his upcoming 40+-city North American tour
After soldout USA and UK shows in 2012/2013, Grammy-nominated pop icon Adam Ant announces Prima Donna as the direct support artist for his upcoming 40+-city North American tour, his largest North American tour in 18 years. The tour starts on July 17 and continues through September 20.
“Adam Ant is one of the artists that changed our lives,” said frontman Kevin Preston on behalf of Prima Donna. “We are beyond excited to support him on the upcoming tour.”
The Los Angeles-based quintet has been a non-stop touring juggernaut since releasing “Bless This Mess” on Acetate Records in 2012. The initial Adam Ant tour dates coincide with the release of the video for “Sociopath,” the lead-off track on “Bless this Mess”.
After returning from their third European tour since the release, this will be Prima Donna’s third North American outing for “Bless”. They’ve been on tour with Green Day, D-Generation, The Dollyrots, and The Phenomenauts.
“Prima Donna has a great glam-rock sound and some of their influences remind me of my early days playing the clubs around London,” said Adam Ant. “I’m excited to have them on the tour and looking forward to introducing them to my fans.”
