vehicle that struck a pedestrian on Tuesday, visited the woman in the

The 60-year-old woman, who was not seriously hurt, could be released
from the hospital later today.
According to the mayor’s office, the vehicle — a black SUV
traditionally used to transport the mayor — was being driven east on Second
Street near Spring Street when it struck the woman about 12:20 p.m. The mayor,
who was returning to City Hall, was on the phone and did not see her get hit,
according to his office.
