Petersen Auto Museum Fire


LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A small fire damaged a hallway at a construction
site on the grounds of the Petersen Museum in the Miracle Mile area today, but
no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 6000 block of Wilshire Boulevard at 8:04 a.m.
extinguished the flames in the lower-level hallway in nine minutes, said Brian
Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
None of the classic cars on display at the museum were damaged, Humphrey
said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
