South Carolina pastor jailed over noisy services

A South Carolina pastor has been sentenced to two weeks in jail after losing a long-running dispute between his church and neighbors who have complained about the noise coming from the house of worship, The Root reported.

Pastor Johnnie Clark of the Rehoboth United Assemblies Church was sentenced after a Richland County jury found him guilty of unlawful sound amplification following a three-day trial where prosecutors laid out their evidence against him.
