St. John Bosco routs Norwalk

St. John Bosco, the third-ranked team in the CIF Southern Section, improved to 2-0 last Friday, blowing out an over-matched Norwalk High team, 48-3.

The Braves move ahead this week with their second game against out-of-state competition, hosting Central Catholic of Portland, Ore., Friday night at 7:30, after opening their season in Hawaii with a victory.

Norwalk, which blew out Bell, 57-0, in its season opener, returns to its regular level of competition, by traveling to Bell Gardens Friday at 7 p.m.

The Lancers opened their season with a 15-14 loss toBurbank.
